Simon De Vos
Oxfordshire and Worcestershire
Simon originally trained in surgery (FRCS) and then swapped to general practice (MRCGP). During his time as a GP partner in Oxfordshire, Simon started working as a Clinical Assistant in skin cancer at the Oxford University Hospitals’ Dermatology Department shortly before setting up the highly regarded Oxfordshire Community Dermatology Service (OCDS) with Colleague Dr Martyn Chambers in 2009.
Simon has worked as a Director of GP Federations in both Oxfordshire and Worcestershire and has written a service specification for a community dermatology service for South Worcestershire CCG.
Simon currently works as an Associate Specialist in skin cancer in both Worcester and Oxford, is a half time GP partner (Droitwich) and GP trainer, and continues to work in and help develop OCDS.
In his spare time, Simon plays competitive tennis at a very low level and struggles to manage his teenage children.
